Finally, if any of you out there happen to see me jaywalking, please ask me to go to the nearest crosswalk. I don't usually jaywalk but last night, while doing so, managed to scare the hell out of my friend who was with me when we were almost roadkill. I am sure that she will never go anywhere with me again. (Actually, I really couldn't help myself. It was the one intersection in the city that didn't have a crosswalk. Just plain silly, I think and it just dares someone to dash across between cars.) I hope that my friend will forgive me and that she is able to overcome the shock soon.
